Ariel and Brad met in March 2015 at a mutual friend’s house to watch a Michigan State basketball game. They were in the same fraternity together and quickly became good friends. They continued to hang out often and officially started dating in September that year. Since Ariel and Brad started dating so young they have been through so many life events together – graduations, first jobs, promotions, and buying their first home together. After all of that, it only made sense to make things even more official after 7.5 years. On December 29, 2022, Brad asked Ariel to marry him while they were visiting friends at Michigan State. It was the perfect day at a place that is so special to the both of them and their relationship!
Conrad first met this awesome couple at Beer on the Wall where his fiancé Ami works and Ariel and Brad are regulars. They all ended up becoming great friends and asked Conrad to photograph their wedding in June 2024. When the big day arrived there was a lot of rain in the forecast, but Ariel and Brad sweetly put their full trust in Conrad and Christy and they still managed to get a lot of gorgeous photos outside (with the help of The Grove’s big front overhang!) Brad cried when he first saw Ariel in her gorgeous Stella York wedding dress, their first look was SO sweet and such a beautiful reminder of the deep friendship and love between these two.
Ariel and Brad were emotional throughout their wedding day, they shared plenty of laughs and tears together. They would describe themselves as “caring and loyal best friends” and that was on full display throughout their entire wedding. After their emotional ceremony we enjoyed a delicious meal together before the dance floor opened. And once Ariel and Brad started they stayed out on that dance floor together until the very end of the night. It was the most perfect day, we were truly honored to be a part of it.
Congratulations, Ariel and Brad, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Grace & Ian’s Perfect Glen Club Wedding

Grace and Ian met at their residence hall during their Freshman year at the University of Wisconsin - Madison. They quickly became friends and spent a lot of time together throughout their first two years of college. Grace and Ian officially started dating Junior year when Grace took the leap and grabbed Ian's hand during a football game. They walked home to Grace's apartment and spent the whole day laughing and talking and have been inseparable since. Ian chose to propose at the Terrace in Madison to honor where their love story first began.
When I first met Grace and Ian I was struck by how beautiful and joyful Grace is. She is truly a treasure, and her and Ian fit together perfectly. I loved getting to know this sweet couple (and their incredibly cute puppy!) at their engagement session last Fall. We had so much fun exploring together in spite of the unpleasant Chicago Fall weather! Fast-forward to their wedding day this October and sadly the midwest weather was not on our side again. But Grace, in her awesomeness, was up for anything and wanted to power through and still take photos outside at the Chicago Botanic Garden as planned!! After Grace and Ian did their first look at The Glen Club we made our way to the Botanic Garden – it was raining on the drive there but thankfully it let up just as we were parking. Grace bounded out of the party bus with a broad smile on her face, she was ready for anything and happy to drag Ian and the rest of their wedding party along for photos : ) It was blustery but so beautiful at the Botanic Garden, we would joyfully photograph there every weekend if we could! Grace looked radiant and Ian was so happy to be alongside his gorgeous bride, it was such a special afternoon.
After we finished photos at the Botanic Garden we went back to the Glen Club for Grace and Ian’s ceremony. Everything looked so beautiful thanks to the talented team at Flowers by Stem, these were some of the most gorgeous wedding florals we saw all year. Grace and Ian exchanged their vows under a magnificent chuppah that was later transformed into the prettiest head table for their reception. We snuck outside for a few more pictures of Grace and Ian once they were officially husband and wife, the grounds at the Glen Club are beautiful and we had a really dramatic sky thanks to that unpleasant midwest weather from earlier.
When it was time for the reception we were treated to emotional toasts from Grace’s Dad and sister. After a delicious meal and amazing cake from The Baking Institute (with THE most intricate sugar flowers!) we were surprised by an adorable choreographed first dance. Grace and Ian are just magical together, we loved being part of this unforgettable day!
Congratulations, Grace and Ian, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Stacey and Brendan met in the Summer of 2018 while both working at the Wrigley Rooftops. They had an instant connection and grew closer, when Covid hit they essentially moved in together and cemented their bond. They created so many memories together in the Lincoln Square area when Brendan lived – when the time came he chose to propose to Stacey there and the next chapter in their love story began!
Brendan is a police officer in Chattanooga, so Stacey worked to plan their wedding remotely. Conrad and Lindsay first met Stacey and Brendan in person on their wedding day after talking with them over the phone and on Zoom leading up to their big day. Friends and family came from all over the world to celebrate Stacey and Brendan – her best friend flew in from New York and her Dad’s cousin came all the way from Germany to help with the centerpieces and other wedding details.
Throughout their wedding we were struck by how loyal and loving Stacey and Brendan are. They created hand-written notes for each of their guests and had the best time celebrating along with their friends and family. It was an honor for us to be alongside this loving couple as they started their lives together!
Congratulations, Stacey and Brendan, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Elise & Garret’s Sweet Seven Bridges Golf Club Wedding

Elise and Garret met in the Summer of 2017 playing for a recreational soccer league in Chicago. Their first date was mini golfing and a drink at a bar, they officially started dating in September. As their love grew they moved in together in January of 2020. Garret proposed at the Naperville river walk; it was a rainy day but Elise still agreed to go on a walk with him that ended in a proposal!
Conrad and I were so happy to join Elise and Garret and their friends and family to celebrate their wedding this Fall. When we arrived at Elise’s parents’ home everyone was in great spirits and Elise looked absolutely beautiful. She had held onto a little receipt that Garret first wrote “Love You!” on, I love discovering special mementos when photographing details before a wedding!! After Elise got into her gorgeous gown she did the sweetest reveal with her bridesmaids just before an adorable “first look” with her Dad.
Once everyone was ready we went together to St. Mary’s Catholic church in Mokena. What a gorgeous church for a traditional wedding ceremony! Ashley joined us for the ceremony so that Conrad could capture video for Elise and Garret, she took some beautiful photos of the church. Garret seemed a bit nervous and fought back a few tears as the ceremony started but once he saw Elise walk down the aisle with her Dad he could not keep his eyes off her for the rest of the day.
After their ceremony we moved to the beautiful Seven Bridges Golf Club. We had the best time photographing Elise and Garret’s wedding party, everyone was so kind and in such great spirits! The weather was lovely, it was the perfect Fall day for a wedding at one of our favorite country clubs! We were honored to be alongside Elise and Garret as they started their married lives together!
Congratulations, Elise and Garret, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Toni and Matt met ten years ago at Michaels where they worked together. They were both getting out of relationships and bonded over that and were there for each other. Toni told us that she knew from the very beginning that one day she would love Matt. They lost touch after Matt left Michaels, but after a time they rekindled their friendship (on a day that Toni describes as “the best day” of her life). Matt had his first art show and Toni decided to show up, she stayed the entire time to support him and even helped him pack up his car and he asked her to hang out with him the very next day. Toni says, “that was the start of us”. After that day they were always together, they couldn’t live without each other. These two were made for each other, and it was only a matter of time before they made things official to spend the rest of their lives together.
When it came time for Toni and Matt’s engagement session it only made sense to take at least some of their photos at Michaels. Conrad loved spending time with these two on their home turf, it was such a fun day getting to know them better! Once their wedding arrived both Conrad and Lindsay were so excited to celebrate with Toni and Matt at the beautiful Eaglewood Resort in Itasca. Toni looked gorgeous in her dress from Here Comes the Bride while Matt looked so cool in his black on black menswear look. Matt had custom flasks made for his groomsmen that were really awesome, we love seeing thoughtful gifts for your wedding squad! Matt was really nervous that morning but calmed down a lot after he saw Toni at their sweet "First Look.”
As Conrad, Lindsay and Ryan captured wedding party photos and then more pictures of Toni and Matt together they all got to see that these two are better together. The best moments of the day were when it was just the two of them enjoying each other’s presence. Toni and Matt’s wedding day was filled with love and emotion, it was an honor to be a part of this moment in their lives.
Congratulations, Toni and Matt, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Natalie and Joe met while they were both working at the Des Plaines Public Library. He worked as a computer technician and she worked as a library assistant. It was Natalie’s first full time job and she was shy, but in her first week there she needed to contact IT and met Joe. They got to know each other slowly through work and found that they connected on a lot of levels. Soon they were talking through their work breaks and having long conversations that they didn’t want to end.
When I first met Natalie and Joe I was struck by how connected and in-love they are. They drove separately to our Studio and met with a sweet smooch in our parking lot before Joe opened the door for Natalie. They held each other close throughout that first meeting and I was beyond excited to be a part of their wedding celebration! I loved getting to know Natalie and Joe better at their beautiful golden hour engagement session at Cantigny Park earlier this Summer. Conrad and I were both so happy to be there to celebrate their wedding in August at Chevy Chase Country Club!
Natalie looked radiant with her gorgeous red hair down (perfectly styled by the talented team at Every Kind of Beautiful) and her stunning drop-shoulder lace gown from Genevieve’s Bridal Couture. From the moment that Natalie and Joe saw each other at their First Look they didn’t take their eyes off each other for the rest of the day. It was a perfect day, we loved every moment and only wish we could do it all over again.
Congratulations, Natalie and Joe, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Kaylee and Matt both went to Prospect High School, they were one school year apart and knew of each other for a while. They truly met for the first time at Lollapalooza in 2016. Kaylee went with her girlfriends and connected with Matt and his friends at the festival. Kaylee and Matt had a blast together that day and decided to go together the next day even though their friends weren’t going. They talked nonstop for the next several weeks and were dating shortly after that. Throughout college, Kaylee and Matt dated long-distance and went to see each other whenever possible on weekends. Matt proposed to Kaylee at a lookout tower on a walk that had long been one of their favorites, and the rest is history!
Conrad loved getting to know Kaylee and Matt during their beautiful engagement session in Long Grove last winter. Conrad and Lindsay were both so excited to celebrate Kaylee and Matt’s wedding with them at one of our favorite venues, Chevy Chase Country Club. It was a beautiful (but windy!) day filled with sweet moments. One of our favorites was getting to know Kaylee’s grandfather a bit, he came up to Lindsay at the church to talk about how proud he is of Kaylee. He told Lindsay that he had retired to help babysit Kaylee and her siblings; then later at the reception Kaylee had a special dance with her grandfather and cousins, it was so sweet. Kaylee rocked tennis shoes all day to keep comfy and Matt joined her later at Chevy Chase with comfy kicks of his own, we love a couple who embraces their unique style at their wedding! All in all it was the perfect day, we are so happy that we could be a part of it!
Congratulations, Kaylee and Matt, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Natalie & Jordan’s Perfect Makray Memorial Golf Club Wedding

Natalie and Jordan met on Hinge in June 2020, just after the world shut down and dating became extra complicated because of Covid. For their first date they got ice cream from the Culver’s drive-thru and ate it together at his house. Natalie fell in love with Jordan when she realized how kind and family-oriented he is. Jordan makes her laugh all the time and feel beautiful at every moment.
Natalie and Jordan got engaged the day before she graduated with her master's degree. After popping the question, Jordan assembled their closest friends and family together to surprise Natalie at a restaurant. His thoughtfulness is just one more reason that Natalie adores him, and their love was on full display at their perfect Makray wedding.
When we arrived at Natalie’s parents’ house to capture the girls “getting ready,” everyone was in great spirits and Natalie was looking amazing. We all cried a little when Natalie saw her Dad for the first time in her wedding dress, his reaction was just the absolute best thing. When we got to Makray and met up with Jordan he was so ready to see his bride, their first look was pretty special too. The whole day was just perfect – from their fun-filled wedding party photos to their emotional vows, each moment was filled with love and joy.
Jordan’s sister is a singer and was an American Idol finalist, she gifted her brother and new sister-in-law with a stunning rendition of an Adele song during their first dance. We all had goosebumps while Grace sang for Natalie and Jordan, she is the real deal. Her voice resonated through that room and set the stage for an unforgettable night celebrating the newlyweds, it was a day we won’t soon forget.
Congratulations, Natalie and Jordan, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Emily and Nick’s Gorgeous Makray Memorial Wedding

Emily is sort of our dream-bride – she’s gorgeous, which certainly makes our jobs easier, but beyond that she’s FUN to be around. Emily and Nick have a beautiful connection, they are naturally so caring and their affection for one another made their wedding day feel so enjoyable for me and Conrad. We knew from when Conrad got to know Emily and Nick at their pretty Winter engagement session in Long Grove that theirs was going to be an unforgettable wedding!
Emily and Nick bonded over video games early in their relationship and we saw glimmers of that early connection during their wedding at Makray Memorial Golf Club – it was pretty epic to hear video game music as the bride walked down the aisle! Emily floated down the aisle on her Dad’s arm – they have a special connection that we loved seeing throughout the day. Her Dad sung “Forever Young” and played guitar during the reception as his “toast,” it was so touching and beautiful. As dinner was served we took Emily and Nick outside on the 18th hole for some “sunset photos,” after practicing their first dance Emily joyfully ran back toward the building to get back to their reception. We love this adventurous and spirited couple and are so thankful to have had the opportunity to be a part of their wedding day!

Clare & Christian’s Unforgettable Rolling Green Wedding

Clare and Christian met playing pickup indoor volleyball in Chicago. They were both interested in each other right away. Their first date was axe throwing in West Loop on March 13, 2020, just before the “shelter-in-place” order went into effect. The date went well but Clare decided Christian was "too young" for her (he is 3 years younger). So she quickly “friendzoned” him thinking that the pandemic came at a great time (i.e. she wouldn't run into him). But Clare was sneaky and kept Christian in her back pocket. During the pandemic, she Snapchatted him almost every day and followed him on Instagram. Christian thought "what is this girl doing?". July had arrived and Clare asked Christian if he wanted to play on her beach volleyball team (since she didn't know a lot of other people who played volleyball in the city). The 2 of them started playing outdoor volleyball during the summer of 2020 and the flame of love was rekindled. After 2 weeks of late night post-volleyball Taco Bell runs and a couple of dates here and there, they officially started dating on August 15, 2020 when Christian asked Clare to be his girlfriend amidst the backdrop of a Lake Michigan sunset. After almost 2 years of dating, they were ready to commit their lives to each other officially before God. Christian wanted to surprise Clare with the proposal but she was ALWAYS looking out for it. For some reason she didn't suspect that he would propose to her in her hometown in Ohio, which worked out well for Christian. On May 30, 2022, with the help of Clare's siblings, Christian surprised Clare at Dawes Arboretum by getting down on one knee on a little bridge in the garden and asking her to be his wife. Clare's whole family was waiting for them at a winery nearby and they finished the night by playing a little pickup volleyball at Clare's brother's house, coming full circle. It was a beautiful day.
We knew that Clare and Christian shared a special bond after our first Zoom call with them. When their wedding day arrived, it was the perfect June weather to celebrate their love at our hometown country club Rolling Green. Clare was radiant thanks to the glam squad from Hairs 2 The Bride, and when she slipped into her gorgeous Martin Thornburg gown (with an epic overskirt!) Clare was beaming for the rest of the day.
When we arrived at Rolling Green the guys were having a great time getting ready in the clubhouse, but it wasn’t hard to pull Christian away for his “First Look” with his beautiful bride. Christian’s reaction to seeing Clare was so sweet, he loves her deeply and was by her side for the rest of the day. After some fun wedding party photos on the course it was time for Clare and Christian to exchange their wedding vows in front of their closest friends and family. They included a moving foot washing ceremony to display their commitment to one another and their love for Jesus. It was a beautiful and moving ceremony punctuated by newlywed bliss once they were pronounced husband and wife!
Following the ceremony Clare and Christian mingled with their guests and danced to some amazing live music (including Star Wars adaptions!) The energy was buzzing with joy throughout Clare and Christian’s reception, and once the dance floor opened the party didn’t stop. As the sun started to set we stole Clare and Christian away for a few golden hour photos of the newlyweds before saying goodbye, it was truly the perfect day!
Congratulations, Clare and Christian, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Nicolete & Terry’s Unforgettable Silver Lake Country Club Wedding
We first met Nicolete and Terry at his sister April’s wedding last Fall. April and Chris’ wedding was one for the ages, we absolutely love them and had the best time with their family and friends. But one thing we won’t forget . . .
We first met Nicolete and Terry at his sister April’s wedding last Fall. April and Chris’ wedding was one for the ages, we absolutely love them and had the best time with their family and friends. But one thing we won’t forget from April and Chris’ wedding was Nicolete roasting her future father-in-law while he gave his father of the bride speech at The Beverly Country Club. Nicolete came prepared with a sign that said “Wrap it Up” that she held up for Terry Sr. to see after he had spoken for about five seconds LOL.
When we learned that Nicolete and Terry were engaged and we would be photographing their wedding we were so excited. I loved getting to know Nicolete and Terry at their beautiful engagement session at Montrose Beach over the summer. Nicolete absolutely slayed her outfit for her engagement session (including a custom “Mrs. McMahon” denim jacket that she bought for herself LOL), but the best part of that day was getting to see the love between these two. They are both kind and considerate and just perfect for each other.
When Nicolete and Terry’s cold November wedding day came around, Conrad and Lindsay and I made our way back to the McMahon’s home for getting ready photos. Nicolete looked gorgeous and was wearing THE cutest satin pajama short set with their custom wedding date. After she got dressed in her beautiful Essense of Australia gown we made our way to St. Christina’s for the ceremony. Nicolete had the sweetest “first look” with her Dad down the aisle at St. Christina’s, they both cried as she privately shared a letter of gratitude she had written for her Dad.
As their ceremony began, Terry’s reaction to seeing Nicolete walk down the aisle was just amazing. This south-side cop let the tears flow as he watched his gorgeous bride walk down the aisle with her Dad, it was the more beautiful moment. During the unity candle ceremony Nicolete extinguished the candle with her fingers as all of the guests laughed. Afterwards we recreated April and Chris’ epic veil moment from last year (possibly making it that much more epic and dramatic – we absolutely love shooting in this gorgeous light-filled church!)
When we arrive at Silver Lake Country Club we had to rush taking photos because we were all freezing our asses off, I don’t know if I have ever been so cold while taking pictures!! After a pretty sparkler “send-off” just before the cocktail hour we settled in for an awesome dinner and party. When Terry requested Celine Dion’s “It’s All Coming Back to Me Now” the dance floor filled for an unforgettable singalong that ended with Nicolete sliding across the dance floor in her wedding gown! It was just the best day and one that we will always remember!
Congratulations, Nicolete and Terry, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Annie and Erick were made for each other. They first connected through their shared passion for championing immigration issues and as their love grew it became clear that they were meant to be together. We met Annie and Erick through our good friend Father Corey of Viator House and he had shared about how deep the love was between this amazing couple. Erick would do anything for Annie, and on their wedding day he couldn’t keep his eyes off his beautiful bride.
Their wedding day was early in November and the Chicago weather was not cooperating. It was VERY windy for Annie and Erick’s celebration, but that didn’t stop everyone from having an amazing day. After their emotional ceremony (officiated by Father Corey!) Annie and Erick joyfully walked down the aisle as husband and wife. They sweetly waved to the camera to connect with Erick’s family who was watching the ceremony remotely – even after years of Covid ceremony broadcasts it still amazes us that technology enables that kind of connection for friends and family who can’t physically attend a wedding. The joy emanating from Annie and Erick was palpable, it was one of our favorite moments of the day.
When we arrived at the Royal Melbourne, pictures with the wedding party were a bit dicey because of the wind. At one point Annie’s veil flew off her head and Erick dove to retrieve it, executing a perfect barrel-roll into the grass to save it!
During the reception Erick’s best man gave a sweet speech about how Annie’s family readily accepts Erick as part of their family. Annie’s talented sister sang during their first dance (she had also shared her talented voice during the ceremony). It was a day filled with beautiful moments and one we are so thankful to have been present for.
Congratulations, Annie and Erick, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Sharon and Jon’s love story started over eight years ago in San Jose, California. They met the year after graduating from college when they worked at the same elementary school for the education program “City Year”. They got to know each other really well during the long hours working together and bonded over similar upbringings, shared values, and their dreams for the future. This eventually led Sharon and Jon to start dating and new adventures together.
Even early on Sharon and Jon knew what they had was special. Before their year in California was up they were in love. Sharon then made the big decision to move to the East Coast just to be with Jon, and they started a life together in New York City. They quickly realized life in the Big Apple wasn't for them, so they moved to Jon's hometown of Princeton, New Jersey. They then spent three wonderful years in Princeton which included many great times with Jon's family.
In 2017, they moved to Sharon's hometown Chicago (it's not truly her hometown since she's from the north suburbs, but everyone from the suburbs says it is) for Sharon to get her Masters in Special Education and for Jon to go to law school. Over our five years in Chicago, they built a beautiful life together. They both received our graduate degrees and began their careers. When they got engaged in January 2021 it felt like the most natural, obvious next step in their relationship.
When I met Sharon and Jon for their engagement session in Lincoln Park I was struck by how kind they are and how comfortable it was to spend time with them. I had such a lovely time with them on that sunny summer day in the city! Conrad and I had the best time celebrating these two on their wedding day at one of our favorite venues, we are so thankful for the opportunity to know Sharon and Jon and to have been part of their wedding day!

While Emily and that friend were living together in Wrigleyville, Matt came over to their apartment and was always the last one to leave – they haven't stopped talking since then! Once Emily and Matt started dating, they quickly became a part of each other's families and friend groups. Emily says that she quickly knew he was the one and he made her feel completely herself.
Matt and Emily got engaged at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin (one of our favorite wedding venues!!) When their wedding day arrived Conrad, Christy and I were so excited to be a part of their celebration. Conrad first got to know Emily and Matt at their beautiful engagement session at Cantigny last Fall. I remember Conrad telling me after their session that Emily and Matt are just perfect together. They quietly and joyfully complement one another. Emily is a planner and had thought of every detail for their wedding, of all the details pictures I have shot this year I think that Emily’s may be my favorite! I mean, how cute are her custom Vans??! And I was completely obsessed with the gorgeous florals that Flowers by KH created for Emily and Matt’s wedding, the bouquets and centerpieces were absolutely gorgeous. From their emotional first look to romantic first dance this was truly a perfect day filled with tears, giggles and radiant love; it was an honor to be a part of this day.
Congratulations, Emily and Matt, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Kaylee & Michael’s Beautiful Makray Golf Club Wedding

Kaylee and Michael met at Purdue University during band camp auditions for the All-American Marching Band – by the second home game they were officially together. After dating all during college their first jobs separated them – Kaylee went to Chicago and Michael ended up in Bloomington, Indiana. Kaylee relocated to Bloomington after 1 year of distance and they were finally living together. During the pandemic Kaylee worked for Indiana University from their apartment while Michael was instrumental in the production of the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine.
After nearly nine years together Kaylee and Michael were so excited to finally celebrate their wedding at Makray Memorial Golf Club. Kaylee and her bridesmaids had such positive energy when we arrived for their “getting ready” photos – we love a good champagne pop to start the party!! Kaylee looked gorgeous in her Essense of Australia gown, and her bridesmaids’ reaction to seeing her as a bride was just the sweetest. After a goofy fake First Look with Kaylee and Michael’s shared bestie and officiant Eric, Kaylee and Michael shared the sweetest and most romantic First Look outside at Makray. Michael’s emotional reaction to seeing Kaylee in her wedding dress was just the best.
We had a lot of fun taking pictures with this wedding party on the course at Makray before heading back toward the building for their ceremony. There were many more tears to come during Kaylee and Michael’s beautiful ceremony, their hand-written vows seemed to make just about everyone cry. After the ceremony we moved upstairs for the perfect party, it was an unforgettable day.
Congratulations, Kaylee and Michael, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Corinne & Jason’s Pretty St. James and Makray Wedding
Corinne and Jason met at karaoke night in Cincinnati, and while it took a while for their spark to ignite they found love and welcomed their daughter earlier this year. Jason and his brothers grew up playing golf at Makray Memorial Golf Club, which made it the perfect place to celebrate their marriage this summer. Conrad and Lindsay were happy to be there for this beautiful day! Following their traditional ceremony at St. James they made their way to Makray for photos before the reception. Jason managed to convince our friend Charlie (the head groundskeeper at Makray) to let them drive golf carts to his parents’ home that backs up to the course. After photos everyone moved upstairs for the party – the reception space was decorated to reflect Corinne and Jason’s love of travel, with the highlight being the beautiful cake made by the talented team at Lovin Oven. Jason’s last name is Mickey, so the newlyweds walked into their reception wearing mouse ears, it was so cute! It was a joy to be part of this beautiful day!
Congratulations, Corinne and Jason, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!

Lisa and Gavin met through mutual friends who told them both over text that the knew someone for the other. Lisa wrote this sweet account of their relationship:
“Gavin was described as being a sports fan (Reds, Colts, Pacers, Purdue), liking music, going to concerts, rescuing a golden mix doggie, being an actuary but fun, tall, and loving to play board games. Lisa replied she could handle a Reds fan even though the Cubs are better, he should be okay with her singing in the car even if the words are wrong the notes are always in tune, she can handle walking a dog, she prefers the Cubs, Bears, Bulls, and Illini but will be polite to other teams, has a big family and will likely choose fun over an extra shift as a Rush ICU nurse. Gavin promised he was only 80% as charming on the phone compared to text messages and so they met. Over the next 3 years they enjoyed meeting each other’s family and friends, going to games, concerts, botanic gardens, and adventures with Luke Pup. Dating through a pandemic added a new challenge to the 137 mile commute between Bloomington Illinois and Wrigleyville Chicago Illinois. In January 2021 Gavin took a new job with CNA after 21 years at State Farm and they bought a house they love in Palatine, Illinois. Gavin had a great plan for a proposal, but due to an accident the day before, Lisa was not going to be able to trek Starved Rock with a straight leg brace and crutches, even though she still wanted to go. Gavin turned out to be a great home nurse and once Lisa was up and walking he took her back to her beloved Wrigleyville for dinner. They went to the first place they went to for dinner in the city, Uncommon Ground, on a Saturday night. Gavin asked her if she could walk to Wrigley Field and Lisa took off on her crutches. It was a beautiful night out, no game; which made for a private proposal, and thankfully no names on the giant scoreboard!”
Conrad loved getting to know Lisa and Gavin at their engagement session last winter and was excited to photograph their wedding with Christy. They both have connections to Lisa and Gavin’s friends and family – Christy’s Dad sings in their church choir with Lisa while Conrad has connections from his childhood youth group. Once Lisa and Gavin’s wedding was over it was clear from seeing their pictures and hearing Conrad and Christy talk that this was a joyous day. After their beautiful and traditional ceremony at St. Edna Catholic Church Lisa and Gavin were showered in dried flowers as their happily exited the church (Gavin’s facial expression was hilarious!) Lisa then sweetly pinned a grape soda bottle cap onto Gavin’s lapel to reference “Up,” one of their favorite movies.
When they arrived at Ravinia Green Country Club everything was set for a perfect evening. The reception room looked so pretty and they were treated to the most amazing sunset, it was the perfect happy day!
Congratulations, Lisa and Gavin, we love you and wish you a lifetime of happiness together!
